Statement of Purpose:

The BIPOC Sex Worker Writing Space (BSWWS) exists to give space to and uplift our voices by providing a creative, supportive environment where they can share their stories and enhance their writing skills. Our purpose is to preserve and celebrate the unique lived experiences of marginalized sex workers through various writing forms—journaling, poetry, playwriting, blogging, grant writing, and more.

Led by and for BIPOC sex workers of many backgrounds, our collective is committed to fostering personal growth, community-building, and advocacy. Through our programs, we aim to create a space where participants can develop their leadership, advocate for their rights, and contribute to shifting cultural perspectives and policies.

Rooted in principles of culture, care, liberation, and creative expression, BSWWS believes in the power of storytelling to drive social change, and our work reflects a commitment to collective liberation and the preservation of our communities' stories for the future.
